About The Chico Music Calendar Project

The Chico Music Calendar website is part of a project with the goal to create a long-term support system for the musical performing arts community for this region of Northern California. With an artist-centric approach and a viable touch-point for artists, dancers, drummers, DJs and musicians of all stripes to reach audiences and gain fans.

The focus on the front of the website is the artist and the goals for the back-end are to serve multiple groups of interest that support the arts community; photographers, web developers, writers and other creative types can share their work and hone their craft all in the support of artists in our community.

The site will host an event calendar and share video, image galleries, video and more from past performances. The Chico Music Calendar project seeks to provide long term support for the region’s music community sustained by a non-profit that offers opportunities and scholarships for artists.
